Knight Rider Season 2
There had been souped-up cars on the screen long before Knight Rider and KITT. What about the Batmobile? But 80s super-duper über Producer Glen A Larson (Battlestar Galactica, The Fall Guy) envisioned much more. In 1982, audiences were already familiar with the buddy-cop format but not with a car. Knight Rider became the smash hit of the season. Kids and the male audience loved all the gadgets (Auto cruise, Ejector seats, Ski mode, Turbo boost) and the women loved David Hasselhoff's tight jeans and chiselled looks ("You got it").
