"Superman" - A box-office smash, an Academy Award(R) and a fan favorite since it first flew into theatres, "Superman: The Movie" assembles a cast and creative contingent as only a big movie can. At its heart (and for three sequels) is Christopher Reeve's intelligent, affectionate portrayal of a most human Man of Steel. The movie's legacy soared even higher when director Richard Donner revisited this beloved adventure 22 years later and integrated eight minutes into the film.
"Batman" - Jack Nicholson is the Joker, who emerged from a horrible accident as a manical criminal. Michael Keaton is the Caped Crusader, who emerged from a childhood trauma to become a masked crime-fighter. Kim Basinger as Vicki Vale, the talented photojournalist desired by both men. And Batman is the movie, the all-out spectacular directed by Tim Burton, set to songs by Prince and a music score by Danny Elfman, and an Academy Award(R) winner for Best Art Direction/Set Decoration (Anton Furst and Peter Young).
"All-Star Superman" - Lex Luthor's elaborate plot to kill the Man of Steel works! Poisoned by solar radiation, Superman is dying. With weeks to live, he fullfills his life's dreams - especially revealing his true identity to Lois Lane - until Luthor proclaims his ultimate plan to control the world with no alien hero to stop him. Powers fading, Superman engages in a spectacular deadly battle that could truly trigger the end of Earth's Greatest Protector.
