The Freewheelers - All surviving episodes from series 1 and one from series two. Freewheelers was broadcast on the ITV network in the UK from 1968 until 1973. It was the brain child of producer Chris McMaster whose premise was to create a teenage version of the James Bond movies - abeit on a much tighter budget. Its principal star (on and off) was Ronald Leigh-Hunt who played British spy master Colonel Buchan.
Enter the action-packed world of espionage with Freewheelers, one of ITV's best remembered children's series. With adventure on loan, on sea and in the air, Freewheelers was a huge hit that ran from 1968 to 1973. Never before available on Video or DVD, this two-disc set contains the complete sixth series, the earliest colour episodes know to survive.
